Group Classes
Puppy Class By starting puppy training early, you can significantly enhance your relationship with your puppy. The training sessions focus on socialization, potty training, nipping, supervised play, and essential skills like vet visits and recall training. Owners will acquire valuable handling techniques for various scenarios and learn effective problem-solving strategies.
The Puppy Class bundle comprises an initial private lesson (orientation) to begin the training process, followed by five 50-minute group classes.
Age: 8 - 16 weeks old when starting Puppy Class- AVSAB Position Statement On Puppy Socialization
Vaccine: First DHPP or DHPP vaccine (specifically Distemper and Parvo) at least 7 days before the first session.

Good Manners I Class
An essential class for a well mannered companion. Dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older learn behaviors like sit, down, wait, polite greeting, give/drop, walking on lead, and coming when called. Handlers learn how to use a clicker, teach behaviors, and how to prevent or modify common behavior challenges. Dog-friendly methods are used throughout. Classes are 6 weeks long (first class is without dogs) and each class lasts approximately 45 minutes. Limited to 6 dogs. $185

The line between training class and real life is blurred with exercises like wait at the door, leave-it while out on a walk, polite greeting while shopping, dinner table downs, and polite loose-leash walking with dog and human distractions. Positive methods are used throughout. Classes are 5 weeks long and each class lasts approximately 45 minutes. Limited to 5 dogs; prerequisite is Level I Good Manners class. $175

Handlers learn different methods of teaching behaviors, and dogs learn tricks like spin & twirl, ride a skateboard, say your prayers, weave, roll over, take a bow… Classes are 5 weeks long and each class lasts approximately 50 minutes. Dog friendly methods are used throughout. Limited to 5 dogs; prerequisite is Level I Good Manners class or permission of the instructor. $185

Social Skills Class - Foundation
Does your dog bark or lunge at other dogs while on walks? Is your dog nervous, stressed, or defensive when encountering new dogs, even from a distance? This highly structured class focuses on modifying reactive or inappropriate behavior toward other dogs. Students gain knowledge and skill in behavior modification techniques by working in short, positive sessions in a safe, controlled environment. The foundation class achieves this by focusing on two complimentary skill sets:

Class sessions are 4 weeks long; each session includes 60-75 minutes of group class weekly. Limited to 4 dogs. Prerequisite: Social Skills Foundation class, or permission of instructor (please email [email protected]). Please note: there is no orientation; all four classes are held with the dogs. $160

Exposure and interaction between student dogs is gradually increased to prepare dogs for success in the real world. We encourage you to repeat this class as many times as desired. Dog friendly methods are used throughout. Class sessions are 4 weeks long; each session includes 60-75 minutes of group class weekly. Limited to 6 dogs. Prerequisite: Social Skills Foundation or Social Skills Next Level class, solid leash walking skills & name recognition (while under threshold).
